Funding art in the US relies so much on fusing mainstream theatre that will sell (largely children's work or.. let's face it - work for the elderly) with a few spontaneaus "artistic" projects. Why aren't we combining more things like this? When will the ones making code and law realize that art isn't always created or executed neatly between 8-10pm?
